New Leaks Offer First Glimpse at Oppo Reno 14’s Design

Just weeks after launching the Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro in India, fresh leaks have surfaced revealing design details of Oppo’s next-generation Reno 14 smartphone. According to leaked images shared by tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Oppo Reno 14 appears to sport a design heavily inspired by older iPhone models, particularly the iPhone 12.

Earlier reports had already hinted at a slim and lightweight design with a metal mid-frame, and the newly leaked images seem to corroborate these claims.

Oppo Reno 14 Design: Flat Panels and Metal Accents

The leaked renders showcase the Oppo Reno 14 from both the rear and the side. The rear panel features a flat white finish with a distinctive R-shaped camera layout. The top half of the phone houses two cameras aligned vertically on the left and a third sensor encased within a capsule-shaped ring. Beneath the camera array, a triple LED flash sits neatly within the slightly rectangular camera module.

The design elements — including the metallic camera rings, smooth chamfered edges, and the flat, sculpted glass back panel — evoke strong similarities to Apple’s iPhone 12 series. Oppo appears to emphasize a clean and premium aesthetic, with subtle curves only around the camera housing for added visual appeal.

Button Layout and Build Quality Hints

Another leaked image reveals the button placement on the Oppo Reno 14. The power button and volume rocker are positioned on the same side of the phone, close to the camera module. The images also highlight the device’s slim profile, in line with previous reports suggesting a lightweight and sleek build.

It remains unclear whether the Reno 14 will feature the rumored “Magic Cube” button, a feature speculated to debut with the Oppo Reno 14 Pro model. Both the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro featured robust aluminium mid-frames, and it is likely that the Reno 14 will continue this trend, aiming to deliver a sturdy yet elegant construction.

As of now, Oppo has not officially confirmed any details about the Reno 14 series. However, with leaked renders and increasing speculation, an official announcement could be on the horizon.
