A Delhi musician ’s simple request for a home-cooked breakfast in Bengaluru turned into a wholesome exchange with an elderly couple, a moment now winning hearts and capturing attention across the internet.
Sadeev Singh, a content creator and percussionist, was visiting the Karnataka capital when he approached an elderly woman outside her home with a humble request, asking for a meal in their home to taste the "local homely food".
“Namaskar aunty, I wanted to ask, I’m from Delhi and I wanted to have local food from here, so, is there any way I could have breakfast at your place?”
The woman said, "one second, I will call uncle"and went inside. To his pleasant surprise, the man welcomed him in with a smile and invited him to join them at the dining table for a traditional home-cooked breakfast.
What followed was a heartfelt conversation as they shared food and a bond that went beyond language and age.
Sadeev introduced himself and his fellow creator Divyashree to the couple.
The elderly man brought out a traditional musical instrument and even took the time to teach Singh how to play it. The content creator, visibly moved, later remarked, “People are too sweet in Bengaluru.”
"I am happy that we met a musician today."
The elderly man further told Sadeev, "Excel in whatever you do"
Before leaving, Singh expressed his gratitude, posed for photos with the couple, and sought their blessings. The elderly man, equally delighted by the sudden visit posed in for photos with the duo
The video of their meeting, captioned “Divided by languages, united by food,” quickly went viral, drawing praise for the couple’s warmth and the simple joy of human connection .
