NEW DELHI: The Red Fort, on the occasion of 79th Independence Day , became a centre stage to hail the success of Operation Sindoor , which was conducted by armed forces targeting terror sites in Pakistan and PoK. As PM Modi arrived at the Red Fort to address the nation, two Mi-17 helicopters flew above the historic place, showering flower petals. One flew with the Tiranga, and the other displayed the banner of Operation Sindoor.
Videos of the helicopters have gone viral, leaving people feeling proud of Operation Sindoor and the valour of the armed forces.
In a stern message to Pakistan from Red Fort, PM Modi said that India will not differentiate between terrorists and those supporting them. He added that Indian armed forces will decide on punishment in case of any future misadventure from Pakistan.
PM Modi also hailed armed forces on Operation Sindoor, saying that it dealt a severe blow to Pakistan.
In a strongly worded speech, PM Modi declared that India will not tolerate Pakistan's nuclear blackmail.
"What the Indian armed forces have done during Operation Sindoor was not seen in many many years. We have set a new normal in dealing with cross-border terrorism , he said. I salute our brave soldiers who punished those behind the Pahalgam attack beyond their imagination," PM Modi said.
