Television stars Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya have found themselves at the center of divorce rumours lately, but the couple is taking it all in stride—with a dose of humor and dessert. Responding to an online video, Vivek has firmly dismissed any claims of a split, calling the speculation baseless.
In a recent video shared by ABP News, Vivek spoke candidly about how he and Divyanka reacted when they first heard the rumours. “Bahut maze aa rahe hai. Main aur Divyanka hass rahe the. Hum log ice cream khate khate soch rahe the, ‘aur lamba hoga toh popcorn bhi mangwa lenge’,” he joked, implying they were so entertained they might as well enjoy a snack while reading the gossip.
Vivek, who also creates content for YouTube, took the opportunity to call out the trend of clickbait-driven news. “Mujhe pata hai yeh clickbait kya hota hai. Kuch sansani daal doge toh log aayenge aur dekhenge. Lekin usme kuch hota nahi hai,” he explained, urging people not to indulge in or support false narratives just for the sake of sensationalism.
The couple was recently in Goa, where Divyanka was presented with an award. The couple shared a vlog exploring some new eating joints and also did some shopping on their way.
The couple, who tied the knot on July 8, 2016, met on the sets of their hit show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, and their on-screen chemistry soon translated into a real-life romance. They went on to win hearts—and the trophy—on the dance reality show Nach Baliye 8.
Divyanka made her acting debut in 2006 with Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, while Vivek stepped into the television world in 2013 with Yeh Hai Aashiqui. Nearly a decade later, their bond remains strong, and the couple continues to be a fan-favorite both on and off screen.
