Land subsidence in Ramgarh

Ramgarh: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) has stopped the movement of heavy vehicles on the Bhurkunda-Patratu stretch via Saunda-D under Patratu block of Ramgarh district on Saturday sue to land subsidence. Heavy vehicles were diverted to Bhurkunda-Patratu state highway, officials said. Patratu block development officer (BDO) Manoj Kumar Gupta said, "The road has been closed for heavy vehicles while light ones are allowed to ply due to land subsidence after underground fire. We have barricaded the affected point for public safety."
