Yvonne Strahovski, who plays Serena Joy, hinted at forgiveness during an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast as she said there's no June without Serena and vice versa. Plus, her character's past working in women's rights could also be a stepping stone for them to develop a friendship.

Will June dump Luke for Nick?

After fathering June's baby Nichole, Nick continued to help her even after she escaped and reunited with Luke.
However, in the finale, June and Luke got separated in the crowd on their way out of Canada. While it's yet to be seen if they will find each other again, the trailer revealed that she will, however, cross paths with Nick.
In an intimate scene, he told her: "Sometimes I think you're the only good thing in my life."
Will June and Hannah finally reunite?
In the very first episode of The Handmaid's Tale, June's daughter Hannah, played by Jordana Blake, was ripped from her arms as Gilead came into power and separated them.
Since then, she has endured several near-misses and gruelling punishments for attempting to bring her daughter to freedom with her. After her devastating decision to leave Hannah behind, June learned that her daughter was at "wife school" in preparation of getting married.

What will happen to Janine?

However, she has since formed an unlikely bond with the fierce disciplinarian Aunt Lydia, portrayed by Ann Dowd, who felt pity and tried to place her in a secure home as a handmaid.
After hitting out at the Commander, Janine was arrested by the Eyes, but the season six trailer hinted at a potential major twist in her storyline.
She could be seen telling a now remorseful Aunt Lydia: "There's no way out." Could this prompt Lydia to join the rebellion or will she twist June's admission and force her to cower to the rules?
Will Gilead finally fall?
June is among many free handmaids who want to seek revenge on the brains behind the totalitarian society and overthrow the entire regime, but will it be possible?
After getting a slice of retribution by killing her commander and successfully smuggling out 52 children in season three, June could bring Gilead to its knees.
With many of its once loyal members turning against the regime, she could join forces with them by using inside knowledge to bring freedom to all the persecuted women. Although this is teased in the trailer, Gilead's fall may actually occur in the upcoming sequel, The Testaments.
Lead actress Elizabeth Moss also told : "I don't think we feel an obligation to tie up the entire story of Gilead, especially not because we've got the sequel coming up in The Testaments. So we do have the opportunity to continue the story."
The Handmaid's Tale season six will premiere on Saturday, 3 May 2025 on Amazon Prime Video
