King Charles has firmly ruled out Prince Harry's return as a working royal, dashing hopes of reconciliation following their recent reunion, a royal insider has claimed. The decision apparently comes despite a 55-minute meeting at Clarence House on September 10 - their first in 19 months - described as cordial but resolute.
The insider revealed that the King's stance is driven by Harry's US-based projects with Meghan Markle. RadarOnline.com quoted the source as saying: "Charles is resolute - Harry will not be reinstated as a working royal... he represents the very opposite of the values Charles wants the crown to embody." The source added that a part-time role would "undermine the working royals' work and betray public confidence." The monarchy, under strain from Charles's health challenges, seeks to avoid further instability linked to the Sussexes' ventures.
