Metallica tour tickets for UK shows, how to get presale and when onsale begins

Metallica have just announced the most exciting news of the year thus far: They're returning to the UK with four incredible stadium shows in 2026 for the M72 Tour. Next June and July, the American rockers will be playing shows up and down the UK with some special guests, and a special set of setlists. London, in particular, is receiving some special treatment, as they are playing the London Stadium on June 3 and 5, with two-day tickets being the only option for fans to purchase.

Tickets for these shows will be released later this month - - but there are a plethora of presale events kicking off first. We've broken it down completely below. Here's the information.

Metallica are holding four presale events this month.

The first is a Legacy Presale, and begins on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 9am. To gain access to this presale, fans need to have had a paid membership to the official Metallica fan club. After that, tickets will be available here:

The second presale event is the Fifth Member Presale, and kicks off on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at 11am. Fans can get access to this by signing up for a free . After that, tickets will be available here:

The third presale comes from O2 Priority, and will kick off on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 10am. This will be available to subscribers of the O2 mobile phone network. Once fans have secure their O2 Priority presale code or link, they can buy tickets using this link:

The fourth and final Metallica presale comes from My Live Nation, and begins on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 10am. These tickets will be available to any fan who signs up to the My Live Nation newsletter here. After that, grab tickets below:

Metallica's general onsale tickets will soon be released following the end of these presales.

Metallica tickets will be released on general onsale from Friday, May 30, 2025, at 10am.

These tickets will be available to everyone who wants them, and will be available from a number of retailers.

This includes Ticketmaster and Live Nation, as well as Seat Unique, a VIP and hospitality-led ticket-seller.

Metallica will be joined by a string of massive artists along the tour, as well.

Metallica will be supported by four massive metal bands from across the globe for their 2026 tour.

First up is Gojira, the French heavy metal rockers best known for Silvera.

Knocked Loose are up next - hardcore icons who have performed live on Jimmy Kimmel, grabbed number ones, and generally exploded across the nation.

Pantera needs little introduction, but they'll make themselves known when they hit stages across the UK.

Finally, Avatar is supporting Metallica. The Swedish metallers recently released their lates album, Dance Devil Dance, in 2023.
