Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were torn apart by TalkTV's Kevin O'Sullivan in a scathing rant after sparking backlash with their joint appearances, as he called their award win "laughably undeserved". Meghan got tongues wagging as she attended Paris Fashion Week in an oversized white Balenciaga outfit before it was revealed by the label's designer Pierpaolo Piccioli that she had "invited herself". She and Prince Harry then travelled to New York as they were given the Humanitarians of the Year award, as he and Meghan shared their intention to protect her children Archie and Lilibet from the dangers of social media. The Duchess also sparked fury as she shared a video of herself in a car not far from Pont D'Alma, where Harry's mother Princess Diana tragically lost her life.
Kevin was not impressed, as he said on Saturday October 18th's TalkTV show: "Manic Meghan Markle is at it again, dazzling us with a blinding blizzard of frantic activity that looks like a lot, but upon closer examination, doesn't add up to very much at all." He continued: "Reports once again proliferate that the Montecito majesty's marriage to permanently furious-looking Prince Harry is in trouble, and that her business empire that never was never will be.
"Suddenly the difficult Duchess is no longer the scam-jam flogging honey-making home domestic goddess, she is the self-styled Queen of the Scene in the wonderful world of high-fashion", adding "clearly is what she wants to be."
Kevin ranted: "She's here, she's there, she's every bloody where, in Paris in New York and Washington, saying this, saying that saying that, and as always with the Duchess of jargon, saying nothing that makes any sense, unless of course you speak Californian psychobabble," as he swiped: "Cutting through her deep-space gobbledygook is always a struggle."
"It's hard to ever know just exactly what she's garbling on about, but of this you can be certain, in her own clunking awkward way, Miss Markle is attempting to change course," before hitting out at her "sartorial disaster" at Paris Fashion Week, adding that she was clearly "trying to get noticed".
He then took aim at Harry and Meghan's "laughably undeserved" award, and commented on the lack of time Meghan and Harry appeared to spend together in New York City.
Kevin said: "Even though old ginger nuts was with his social mountaineer wife in Manhattan, the couple seem to spend an inordinate amount of time apart, and witnesses observed that Harry appeared to be grinning for the cameras through gritted teeth. By all accounts, the dim-witted Prince didn't look happy at all."
