A beach has been crowned the "best in the " after its idyllic location was revealed on social media. account, UK Hidden Gems, showcased breathtaking footage of the area, featuring crystal-blue waters, a waterfall and a cave.
The beach can be reached via a 20-minute stroll from a nearby village close to Penzance, down a quaint country lane. Pinpointed by the postcode TR19 7AH, Nanjizal Beach - also known as Mill Bay - is a cove nestled in the civil parish of St Levan.
Responding to UK Hidden Gems' brief clip, one TikTok user gushed: "It's absolutely stunning. Was there last Thursday. Hands down the best beach in Cornwall." Another recent visitor added: "Just been it was amazing. Water was also blue like shown! Long walk down but loved it, especially in the evening got there about 6pm for sunset."
A third praised: "Nanjizal beautiful spot... great walk from Porthgwarra." While a fourth expressed gratitude: "Oh wow thank you for this."
However, others advised caution when visiting the beach, owing to it's tricky whereabouts. "Went there two weeks ago!" one TikTok user shared. "Just beautiful and special. But we ended up walking from the fields down the steep rocks. Very dangerous nearly slipped!"
Another issued words of caution: "Just watch out for the killer boulders you have to cross at the start of the beach. I didn't even get to see the cave as I broke my wrist."
Meanwhile, a local added of the spot: "Been there, I'm Cornish. It's so nice I really recommend it. It's beautiful for fun and photos, just beware of jellyfish - got stung there, it hurt."
Whilst a tourist offered advice for those driving to the location: "To get to this, the roads are super tight. Confident driving is a must. And it's a long walk from your car to here."

While dogs are allowed on Nanjizal Beach throughout the year, it's important to note that there is no lifeguard cover and there aren't any toilets in close proximity.
