As Oasis reunites for one of the biggest tours ever, British Gas is marking the moment with a unique priority service called "Sally Can't Wait". The campaign gives a nod to a lyric from Oasis's hit song "Don't Look Back in Anger" and the energy giant's connection to Noel Gallagher, who worked as a British Gas subcontractor in the early 1990s before rising to stardom.
As part of the initiative, British Gas is offering same-day engineer appointments to customers named Sally across the UK during the tour. The campaign is highlighted by the appearance of a Noel Gallagher-lookalike engineer installing "Sally Can't Wait" signs outside homes nationwide. Additionally, British Gas is providing a "Sally Can't Wait Fast Track Gate" at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield stadium for the Oasis concert and giving selected Sallys and a friend the chance to win tickets to the show on August 12.

Though the promotion focuses on customers named Sally - British Gas reportedly has nearly 15,000 with that name - the company emphasised that the priority same-day service for urgent issues, such as boiler breakdowns, is available to all UK residents, regardless of whether they are existing customers.
Anyone who calls before 11am with an urgent heating or hot water problem can receive engineer support the same day.
A British Gas spokesperson said: "Whether it's a broken boiler or getting to the gig on time, we're here when it matters most.
"This is a fun way to spotlight the fast, reliable service we offer - including same-day support for urgent issues - while giving a little love to the Sallys of the UK.
"And with Noel having once worked as a subcontractor himself, it felt only right to get him - or at least his British Gas engineer lookalike - involved."
To be in with a chance of winning the concert tickets, any customer named Sally must comment with their name on British Gas's Instagram post before the competition closes on July 25.
