Many locals are unaware of the 20mph speed limit and are often seen driving too fast, endangering pedestrians, livestock, and residents.
John Horrigan, a local living next to the quarry, described the scene as "like a giant anthill with people crawling all over it" and noted that many visitors admitted to coming because they had seen the quarry on TikTok.
He added: "There seems to be a view that just because a place has been on TikTok, people have a God forsaken right to go anywhere.
"The traffic there at the weekend was the worst I've ever seen."
The resident "counted more than 30 campervans" on Friday May 18 with many lighting fires.
In a bid to curb the ever increasing number of cars, locals are calling for a renewed look at parking restrictions - or even a new car park with toilets up on the mountain.
John said: "Something needs to be done here before it's too late. In two weeks time, if the sun shines on the next Bank Holiday weekend, we'll be facing this madness all over again."
