Air India continues to reel under operational strain following the deadly Ahmedabad crash, with eight more flights canceled on Friday—four international and four domestic. The cancellations have been attributed to maintenance and operational challenges, according to an official airline statement.
Full Refunds and Rebooking OfferedThe airline assured passengers of full refunds or free rescheduling. “We regret the inconvenience caused. Our ground teams are arranging alternative travel for affected passengers,” the statement read.

Broader Crisis Following CrashThis disruption comes in the aftermath of the catastrophic Ahmedabad–London Gatwick Dreamliner crash, which claimed 271 lives, including 30 civilians on the ground. The DGCA has launched a fleet-wide safety review of Air India’s Boeing 787 Dreamliners.
