Launched officially in November 2024, the BE 6 and XEV 9e saw deliveries start on March 20, 2025. Within 40 days, Mahindra had delivered 6,300 units, and the number quickly surged to 10,000. This success comes at a time when Tata Motors has introduced its Harrier EV, adding fierce competition to the segment.

According to Mahindra, in terms of bookings, 59% of customers chose the flagship XEV 9e, while 41% opted for the BE 6. Most buyers preferred the top-end Pack Three variant, highlighting the demand for premium features.

Powerful Batteries and Impressive Range

Both BE 6 and XEV 9e come with two battery options:

  • 59 kWh battery delivering 228 bhp power

  • 79 kWh battery delivering 281.6 bhp power

  • Both models generate 380 Nm torque and offer multiple driving modes such as Range, Everyday, Race, Snow, and Custom.
