The case came to light when the victim was raped again on September 18th, when her fiancé visited her. The victim told her fiancé about the brothers' actions, who then mustered the courage and advised her to file a police complaint.
The victim filed a written complaint against the two brothers at the Arwal police station. The police took immediate action and arrested both accused. The victim is undergoing a medical examination.
According to the police, the victim stated that the two brothers also threatened to kill her. The victim also submitted a video of the rape, filmed by one of the brothers, as evidence. This incident, which occurred in the Arwal police station area of Hardoi, has created a sensation in the entire area.
On this matter, CO Satendra Singh said, "On 23-9-2025, a victim from the Arwal police station area filed a complaint against two members of her own family, accusing them of rape. Based on the complaint, a case was registered under appropriate sections and both the accused were immediately arrested. Further legal action is being taken."
