Corona havoc is back! 1828 new cases, 15 deaths – which is the hotspot?

Corona cases are rising again in the country! Active cases cross 1828, 15 deaths. Kerala has the highest number of cases, Maharashtra has 9000+ tests. Is this the fourth wave?

Every day the cases of corona virus are increasing rapidly in the country, on Friday 30 May 2025 the number of active cases of Covid has reached close to 1828 across the country, experts are calling it the fourth wave of corona virus. Along with the number of active cases of corona, 15 deaths have also occurred so far, in which the highest number of corona deaths are from Maharashtra, where 6 out of 15 deaths have occurred so far. The Maharashtra government has started conducting a survey of influenza and respiratory diseases for corona virus in the state due to the increasing cases of corona.

Kerala has the highest number of corona cases

After Maharashtra, if we talk about Gujarat, 6 new cases have been reported here on Thursday, in which an 8-month-old girl has been put on oxygen support. The highest number of corona cases in the country is coming from Kerala, where the number of cases has increased from three-four hundred to 727. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has said regarding the increasing cases of corona that the state is getting the highest number of cases of Omicron JN variant LF7.

More than 9 thousand corona tests have been done in Maharashtra

Giving information about the increasing cases of Corona, the Maharashtra government said that 79 new cases of Corona have been reported on Thursday. Since January 2025, 379 Corona patients have been found in Mumbai, since January till now 9592 Covid-19 tests have been done in the state. Apart from Maharashtra, two new cases of Corona have been reported in Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday, both these cases are from Srinagar and they are residents of Kerala, who are studying in Government Dental College.

• Kerala- Kerala has the highest number of active coronacases with 727 corona patients found in it.
• Maharashtra- Amidst the increasing cases of Corona, Maharashtra is at second place in the country, where 425 cases of Corona have been reported and till now 6 deaths have occurred due to it.
• Gujarat- There is no sign of the number of Corona cases stopping in Gujarat as well, the number of active Corona cases here has reached 183.
• Karnataka- There have been 148 cases in Karnataka too, and here too the number of corona patients is increasing rapidly.
• Delhi- Even though the pace is slow in the capital Delhi , there are 123 active cases of corona here too.
• Tamil Nadu: 69 active cases have been registered in Tamil Nadu and Corona is ready to spread here too.
• West Bengal: Corona cases have risen to 27 in Bengal. Where there were no cases for 2-4 days, cases are now starting to appear.
• Haryana - So far 18 active cases have been reported in Haryana, Corona is at its pace, where it is progressing at the same speed as the number of cases.
• Bihar - 11 Active cases in Bihar have now increased from 2 to 9, in preparation for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, special arrangements have been made here regarding Corona.
• Puducherry-9 Corona is reaching every corner of the country, 9 active cases of Corona have been registered in Puducherry.
