With this win, Bangladesh has taken an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match series.

In the match, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. Bangladesh had a very bad start and lost four wickets at the score of 28. After this, Jaker Ali (55 runs in 48 balls, one four and five sixes) and Mahedi Hasan (33 runs in 25 balls, two fours and two sixes) took control of the innings by making a partnership of 53 runs. Bangladesh completed 100 runs in 16.2 overs. But as soon as Mahedi Hasan was out, wickets started falling again and the whole team was all out for 133 runs in 20 overs. For Pakistan, left-arm pacer Salman Mirza took 2 wickets for 17 runs. Ahmed Daniyal took 2 wickets for 23 runs and Abbas Afridi took 2 wickets for 37 runs.

Pakistan's innings collapsed

Bangladesh's fast bowlers gave a befitting reply to Pakistan's team, which came out to chase the target. Shoriful Islam and Tanjim Hasan Sakib together destroyed Pakistan's top order and upper middle order. Pakistan lost 7 wickets for 47 runs in 11.5 overs. After this, Faheem Ashraf and Abbas Afridi tried to fight. Faheem scored 51 runs in just 32 balls, which included four fours and as many sixes. Abbas scored 19 runs in 13 balls, which included two fours and a six. Both added 41 runs for the eighth wicket.
