In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Aamir Khan addressed the photo that set the internet abuzz. “The picture was taken last month. Whenever we are in each other’s city, we try to meet. That’s all,” he clarified.

Dismissing any talk of an upcoming joint project, Aamir said, “There’s nothing in the works at the moment. I have immense respect for Allu Arjun—he’s a phenomenal actor. We admire each other’s work, and that’s the extent of it right now.”

So for now, fans will have to wait a bit longer for any official news of a collaboration between Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist and the Pushpa star.

Sitare Zameen Par Shines at the Box Office

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan’s latest film Sitare Zameen Par is performing well at the box office. Directed by R.S. Prasanna and co-starring Genelia Deshmukh, the film was released on 20 June and has earned ₹95.55 crore in just 8 days at the domestic box office.

With a strong emotional narrative and Aamir’s trademark performance, the film continues to draw audiences to theatres.
