Love Island star Shaughna Phillips stuns fans with before and after weight loss photos

Love Island star Shaughna Phillips won praise from her fans as she detailed her incredible body transformation. The 31-year-old reality star found fame in 2020 when she appeared on season six of the ITV show.

Shaughnalasted over four weeks in the villa before she was dumped form the island - and in the years since has won a following for her no nonsense approach to beauty and social media. While many reality stars turn to surgery or use heavy filters on images to give an illusion of their appearance, the mum-of-one has shunned touching up her images.

Now the star has won further praise by showing off her figure with impressive before and after photographs, revealing that she changed the shape of her body through a strict exercise regime. The ITV star posed in just her underwear in both images which she shared on Instagram.

The before photo showed Shaughna posing with her arms at her side and with a warm smile as she stood in place to be snapped. The follow up images showed how her body had become more toned, while her pose appeared more confident.

Sharing the details of her transformation, she wrote: "Let the record reflect, although I’ve dropped a few dress sizes, I will ALWAYS love a high waisted full brief.

Fans took to the comments section to marvel at the reality star's transformation. One wrote: "You look amazing, you've done so well." Another wrote: "You really do look amazing. I’m so tempted to sign up."

A fan commented: "U look amazing" alongside red heart emojis. And a further fan typed: "You look happy with your new body that's all that matters lovely."

Earlier this year, fans commented on Shaughna's changing figure, with many speculating that she may have taken weight loss injections to lose weight.

However, she hit back at the suggestion, telling The Mirror: "I love food way too much," to ever even consider suppress her appetite with a 'fad' like weight loss jabs.

"There's a new fad every other year. It just so happens that this is the fad this time around, and after I have lost weight. The thing is, it just coincided with the time when I had my daughter Lucia, and I had this baby weight and everyone was commenting on it. Had it of been a few years prior, everyone would have been saying I had a BBL, or some magical liposuction that completely transformed how I looked," she shared.

She went on: "We're in the Ozempic season at the moment, and I can't help how people perceive me. I believe that Ozempic is an appetite suppressant, and those are not new. It's just essentially a new name for something that gives the same results.

"This has been something that has been around for 20 or 30 years - it's just another pharmaceutical company that have been able to market it in this new way and everyone is freaking out over it. In a couple of years time it will be something else, mark my words."

It is noted, however, that Ozempic is not strictly a weight loss injection as it is a medication designed to treat type 2 diabetes with weight loss an unintended side effect.
