Chris Hughes lands new job on This Morning just days after leaving Celebrity Big Brother house

On Thursday morning's episode, Chris was live from Western Super Mare as he introduced the Dosh On Our Doorstep competition. The former star was surrounded by residents on the beach during the scorching temperatures, as he introduced the competition.

The popular competition sees the show travel the country looking for a doorstep on which to hand over dosh.

Introducing the competition, Chris, 32, said: "I've gone from the sofa to the sea and we are here in the amazing Western Super Mare. It's the return of Dosh On Our Doorstep and we'll be giving away some money. I can't wait for this one!"

Referencing his hilarious awkward Love Island moment, Chris asked the audience if they wanted him to rap, but unfortunately for him, he was shut down.

Taking to his Instagram to announce his new role, Chris shared a picture of the beach and his This Morning cue card, as he wrote in the caption: "Dosh On Our Doorstep has returned and we are at Western Super Mare! Come say hello!"

It comes days after Chris Hughes joined hosts Ben Shephard and on the This Morning sofa with close friendfollowing the Celebrity final. Chris came in sixth place, whereas JoJo placed in third.
