Dads are taking over TikTokwith this latest trend, showcasing the positive work these men do asparents, from when they wake up in the morning right up until their heads hit the pillow. Many viewers are praising the idea for showing these fathers in a positive light, as presentparents who are both active and enjoying raising their children.
Making it all the more fun, the 'day in the life of a dad' videos are set against the 2009 throwback hit from the Black Eyed Peas, Imma Be. It sees the men starting off the video in the morning as they mime the lines "I'ma be on the next level", before moving on to the next line as they approach the next step in their routine.
In one particular video, by the creator @Kidds_Dad, his typical dad day starts off at 4am, where he kicks off thinking of a 'wake up with baby'. The quick clip shows him working two different jobs in the day before playing with his child in the evening, before ending the day at 8:30pm for a 'movie date' with his wife.

Viewers were quick to comment and praise his daily dad routine. One user shared: "This is what a good dad does! Parents, housework and provides. It should be 50/50! Comments like “What does the mum do?” Errr…her 50% also! It’s not just the mother’s responsibility to parent or clean the house!"
Another viewer added: "It’s so nice to see a husband so involved and being a good dad and a supportive partner!" While someone else commented: "it’s so nice to see a husband so involved and being a good dad and a supportive partner!"
Well-known online dad Masonn Varney, who makes up part of The Varney Family on TikTok, took part in the trend and, as a result, racked up one million views. Starting off at 10am with a 'brunch date' with his daughter and ending at 7:30pm for 'face mask time' with his kids, the creator's video was hectic, to say the least.
A viewer took to the comments to praise him for all the fun he's having with his children. They wrote: "Probably my favourite one yet! Your girls will remember this."
In a standout addition to the trend, one dad showed the realities of feeding a newborn baby and timing his bottle feeds. The video received a lot of attention, making note of his feed times starting right at 4:30am and going on until 10:30pm that same day.
An impressed user related to the 'day in the life' style video and commented: "My fiancé did the majority of the night feeds for the first 6 weeks so I could heal. And if I did get up and say, 'No, I’ll feed him; you sleep,' he would still get up and make the bottle and get me a diaper before going back to bed. Teamwork makes the dream work!"
