Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to inaugurate the highly anticipated Madhya Pradesh Travel Mart (MPTM) 2025 as the Chief Guest on Saturday, October 11, at 6 PM. The three-day international event, organized by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, will take place at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre in Bhopal, aiming to position the state as a premier global tourist destination.
Union Minister for Tourism and Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, will grace the occasion as the Special Guest, with the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Culture, Tourism and Religious Trusts, Dharmendra Bhav Singh Lodhi, presiding over the function.
Global Participation and Strategic MoUs
The MPTM 2025 is attracting massive international interest, with over 700 delegates expected to attend, including more than 100 international tour operators from 27 countries, 150 domestic tour operators, and 355 sellers. Eminent personalities like Ravi Gosain (President, IATO), celebrated actor Mr. Raghubir Yadav, and international expert Ms. Michelle Immelman will also be present.
Prior to the inauguration ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav is scheduled to hold crucial one-on-one meetings with distinguished delegates to discuss potential tourism investment and collaboration opportunities.
A key highlight of the day will be the signing of a major Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Department and the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) at Bharat Bhavan. This agreement is aimed at significantly enhancing tourism infrastructure, visitor services, and public amenities surrounding ASI-protected monuments across the state.
Boosting Investment and Connectivity
During the event, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will distribute Letters of Award (LoA) to investors, including Vinayak Kalani, for developing a Golf Course in Raisen district and a Wellness Resort in Khandwa district, signaling a push for high-end tourism projects.
Furthermore, strategic MoUs will be exchanged with leading industry players like influencer marketing agency Curly Tales, Balaji Telefilms, and Atavi Bird Foundation to boost promotional efforts. The Impact Assessment Report of the Madhya Pradesh Film Tourism Policy will also be released, alongside the launch of the state Tourism’s new International Television Commercial (TVC).
In a significant move to improve tourist accessibility, LoAs will be presented for the commencement of new helicopter services across key tourist destinations to Jet Serve Aviation Pvt. Ltd. and Trans Bharat Aviation Pvt. Ltd. Awards will also be given for the establishment and operation of tent cities at Hanuwantiya, Mandu, Tamia, and Orchha, enhancing accommodation options.
Experiential Journeys: FAM Trips
To showcase the depth of ‘Incredible Madhya Pradesh,’ 14 carefully curated Pre and Post FAM (Familiarization) Trips have been organized for over 200 delegates. These journeys, covering destinations like Khajuraho, Panna, Orchha, and Mandu, allow delegates to personally experience the state’s rich heritage, rural lifestyle, and natural beauty, laying the groundwork for future promotional partnerships and increased tourism flow.
