Seasoned WWE Wrestler CM Punk cut off Gunther on the mic as the latter was about to respond as the former World Champion addressed him ahead of their Summer Slam 2025 match. In a video surfaced on social media, Punk hid Gunther's mic in the latest episode of WWE RAW as the World Heavyweight Champion was keen to respond.
Punk, who has held the World Championship a handful of times during his glorious run in the WWE thus far, won the Gauntlet match to qualify himself to face Gunther in the pay-per-view. Gunther, meanwhile, recently defeated Goldberg to retain his world title.
With Punk vowing to hold the World Championship aloft at Summer Slam, Gunther said:
"You know what Punk, I've had enough of that"
It was then that the Chicago-born wrestler said:
"I wasn't finished. There's levels to this kid. And you're find out the hard lesson at The Summer Slam on Saturday. You are not on my level. For as great as you are, Saturday night I'm leaving World Heavyweight Champion. But hey, you'll be able to share a ring and finally feel what it feels like to be in the ring with the one, the only Best in the world CM Punk."

"I need to be World Champion like I need air in my lungs. If you compare your careers to mine, this isn't apples to apples. There are levels to this, kid, & you're gonna find that you're not on my level." - CM Punk
