Four helmet-wearing men, armed with guns, targeted a jewellery store in Harichandanpur, Keonjhar district, looting gold and cash within minutes on June 25. The dramatic CCTV footage of the robbery recently surfaced online and has gone viral since.
According to reports, more than a week has passed since the incident took place, yet the accused have not been arrested.

The footage shows one helmet-clad man entering the store around 6:40 pm. He points a gun at a shop employee, while another man enters with a polythene bag and starts putting ornaments inside. Moments later, two others enter the shop and join the robbery.
All the accused wore helmets to conceal their faces. It took the robbers just four minutes to make off with the stolen ornaments and cash.
According to reports, one of the shop employees was thrashed, while others were threatened.

In a separate incident, robbers targeted an Indian Bank branch in Mandhatapur under Ranpur block in Odisha’s Nayagarh district. The robbers allegedly looted ₹22 lakh in cash along with gold ornaments at gunpoint. They also assaulted two staff members who resisted, and the victims were later admitted to a local hospital.
