'Nobody Wants To See Fat Boy On TV': Orry Says He Starved To Lose Weight, Fell Asleep On Toilet After Throwing Up Dinner

Social media sensation Orry, aka Orhan Awatramani—known for his high-profile Bollywood friendships and viral moments since taking the internet by storm in late 2023—often makes headlines. In his latest revelation, he opened up about his weight loss journey, revealing that he starved himself in early 2023, before deciding to pursue fame.

Orry shared that he was 'large' and 'fat' at the beginning of 2023. Appearing on The Suvir Saran Show, he revealed that he weighed over 70 kilos at the time—'and this is pre-Ozempic.'

Further, he added. "But you can’t be fat and famous. That’s not how it works. No one wants to see a fat, 5-foot boy walk around on TV. So I really starved myself. Some days, I’d wake up with neck pain because I’d fall asleep on my toilet after throwing up my dinner. But it worked and I lost the weight! That’s cheating technically, but I did what I had to to get where I wanted to get."

Orry stated that he supports cheating—not in games, as winning that way lacks satisfaction, but in life.

"If you use Ozempic, that’s cheating, but I’d support that. If you were in love with one man or woman and another man or woman at the same time, I’d support you. If you’re a bodybuilder and you take steroids, I’d support that. Do what you got to do to get where you want to get," concluded Orry.

Orry recently made a cameo in the Netflix film Nadaaniyan, starring Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan in the lead.

Orry has created a mystery around his occupation, referring to himself as a 'liver' who works on himself.

As per his LinkedIn profile, Orry works as a Special Project Manager at the Reliance Industries Limited Chairperson Office. He has pursued a Bachelor's in Fine Arts and Communication Design from New York's Parsons School of Design.
