Mumbai: A tragic incident of suicide was reported on Sunday evening from Pimpaleshwar Krupa Building near Curry Road Naka, where a 31-year-old man allegedly hanged himself using a saree tied to the ceiling fan of his residence.
According to the initial report received by the police at 5:10 PM, the deceased has been identified as Anish Dattaram Bhadwalkar, a resident of Room No. 328, 3rd Floor, Pimpaleshwar Krupa Building.
Upon receiving the information, PSI Shaikh and Police Inspector Chavan visited the spot and found that Anish had used a saree to hang himself. He was immediately brought down by his brother and friends and rushed to KEM Hospital, where doctors from the casualty department declared him dead at 4:45 PM.

An inquest panchnama was also carried out at KEM Hospital. Further legal procedures are underway, and the case is currently being investigated by PSI Shaikh.
