Mrunal Thakur, Adivi Sesh INJURED On Sets Of Dacoit During Shoot Of High-Octane Scenes: Report

Actors Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, who are currently shooting for their upcoming film, Dacoit, reportedly got injured on the sets of the film. While the two have not issued official statements on the incident, if reports are to be believed, both sustained minor injuries and were given immediate medical attention.

According to a report in Telugu 360, the incident happened when Adivi and Mrunal were shooting for some high-octane scenes for the actioner. The shooting of the film has been taking place in Hyderabad, and the two hurt themselves while performing a fast-paced scene.

After immediate first-aid, the two continued the shoot, and Adivi later visited a physician to get himself checked. Mrunal too, reportedly, prioritised the shoot and wrapped up the day's schedule to avoid further delays.

Adivi and Mrunal's accident comes days after stuntman SM Raju died on the sets of Pa Ranjith's upcoming film, while performing a high-octane stunt. His car incorrectly landed on a ramp and flipped multiple times mid-air before landing with a thud.

The incident left the veteran stuntman dead on the spot.

Meanwhile, speaking of Dacoit, the film was earlier supposed to star Shruti Haasan opposite Adivi Sesh, however, she quit the project for reasons best known to the team. It was then that Mrunal came on board.

Dacoit marks the directorial debut of cinematographer Shaneil Deo, who has worked with Adivi in the past as well. The film is being parallelly shot in both Telugu and Hindi to reach a wider audience, and it is scheduled to hit the silver screens on Christmas 2025.
