Bengaluru: A bomb threat triggered panic in a residential building in Bengaluru after a threatening message warning of an explosion was found written on the wall, according to a report by India Today.
"I am going to blast India from Pakistan,” the scribbled message found at the Alphine Pyramid Apartment in the Kodigehalli area read.
Around 300 families live in the apartment. As soon residents found the message, they informed the police. Bomb disposal units and sniffer dog squads were swiftly deployed to the scene and the police carried out a comprehensive search of the premises.
The area has been cordoned off as investigations are underway. Police are working to identify who may have written the message and to determine whether the threat holds any credibility.

Earlier last week, Explosives were found at Bengaluru’s Kalasipalya bus stand in western Bengaluru on Wednesday, triggering a bomb scare that caused panic and prompted an immediate response from local law enforcement and the Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS). Six gelatin sticks and several detonators were discovered in an unattended carry bag outside the public toilet at the bus stand. The Karnataka Police on Tuesday arrested three persons in connection to the case.
Earlier in the month, a private school in East Bengaluru, Chrysalis High School in Varthur was evacuated after receiving a bomb threat via email, causing panic among students, parents, and staff.
