Arsenal defender William Saliba was taken off at half-time against Crystal Palace, with Cristhian Mosquera replacing the Frenchman. It is currently unclear if Saliba is injured but Mikel Arteta will be intent on the defender not picking up any type of injury if possible.
Eberechi Eze scored against his former club in the first half to put the home side ahead. A Declan Rice free-kick fell to the Englishman, who guided the ball into the corner on the half valley.
Going into the game there had been concerns regarding the fitness of Gabriel Magalhaes, who picked up a knock in the 4-0 win over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday. The Brazilian missed a number of training sessions in the week but was deemed fit enough to start on Sunday.

Gabriel and Saliba have formed a solid partnership in recent years and are a huge reason why Arsenal are so strong this season.
